One could think that notion and representation of drawing as an artistic medium is actually defined, completed. Yet again, astonishing works shown in JERWOOD Gallery prove opposite. The work of Warren Andrews David M. Hutchinson Drawing Device no.436 will mark a breakthrough in understanding what drawing is. Such a simple idea drawn from still life composition with a brilliant linear element added by the artist to enhance the nature of the medium deserves and receives big applause.
